All projects begin with an initial in-person consultation where Tricia can get to know you and your project. During this time, we will dive into your needs and ultimate home goals. Tricia will provide recommendations regarding the scope of work based on your needs, and take photos and measurements of the space. Following the consultation, you will receive a customized proposal outlining how you and Tricia Runkel Home can work together to create your dream vision.

E-Design
Tricia Runkel Home offers E-Design services for clients who are not local to the Chicago area. The E-Design process is completely digital and allows us to work together, no matter where you call home.
We start with an initial Zoom consultation where we get to know each other and discuss your needs. Following the consultation, you will receive a customized proposal based on your project scope. After deciding to move forward with Tricia Runkel Home, you will receive a client questionnaire and measuring guide. All you have to do is fill it out and send it back with a few photos of your space. Within a few weeks, your complete design board, source list, and space plan will be delivered to you electronically, and you will have everything you need to implement the design.

Of course! Styling is my favorite thing to do and lights me up! If you are local, I can certainly come to your home and style for you. At that time, we can decide which items you currently own that can be incorporated and discuss any additional decor that might need to be purchased.

Absolutely! I encourage clients to incorporate some of the treasured pieces they already own, especially heirlooms or vintage finds. With that said, I will be very honest about what works and what doesn’t - for example, if a piece is just too big for the room, perhaps we move it to another room where it might fit better.

Yes, your happiness is very important to me! Based on what you share regarding your style during the initial consultation and the client questionnaire, I will create two different design boards for you. From there, we can work together via Zoom and email to make any edits necessary to achieve your perfect design board.
